Ludum Dare #34
The Creator built a world, was unsatisfied and destroyed it.
You are a nature spirit of this shattered world, bound to heal and regrow it.
You can only walk on plants but you can harvest seeds and magically grow them.
You need to find a way to reach distant places and other world's shards.
Beware! There is other spirits, and they made a different choice than you.
Use arrows to move,
space to harvest or plant
and tab to cycle through your inventory.

Fixes and improvements
- Display local world's and tile's names.
- Sort the tileset.
- Add an icon.
- Add border cliffs and jagged edges to better convey the sense of shards of worlds drifting through space.
- Improve error handling in XML parsing.
- Random level generation.
- Data revamp: each place has data (and not only tile ID) -> optimisation (bool sleep), personal suicide timer, different growing according to internal value, etc.
- Add sound!
Mechanic Ideas
- Steal effect: some challenges require to be completed without bringing external seeds (but plants can grow through steal zones).
- Evil spirits that can move and do things!
- Evil spirits that can only be killed with special (magic? colorful?) plants (it's not a question of grow-power).
- Changing inventory max size: more challenge with little inventory, reward with size increasing.
- Triggers for speed challenge or more complexe puzzles.
- Save game state in file for continuing latter.
- Save game state in memory for rewing in case of permanant failure.
Plants Ideas
- Grass with flower: low grow-power, only grows by hand (and worldgen).
- Algae, lotus, lilypad, ... Water biomes and mechanisms.
- Mushrooms, moss and lichens.
- Lava and fire-plants.
- Plague mechanism (grow over and suicide after a while).
- Vine thorns: unwalkable plants but high grow-power, can kill unreachable death spirits.
